HI all,
A little about me. I am 28 and a mum of 4. Eldest is 5 and the youngest is just 1 month old. I have been married for 8 years and have become more self sufficient since the children arrived. We have 3 chickens that supply our eggs and I have not bought any convenience food item in our shop for nearly 4 years. I love to cook so that helps a lot!
I have recently become interested in foraging and as a family we went on our first excursion lunch time today and came back ladened with elderflowers and plans to return tomorrow for the rowanberries we spotted. My first batch of apple chutney is in the cupboard and I have elderflower cordial sitting in the kitchen nook.
I am looking forward to learning from you and hopefully making a few new friends along the way.

lol, its what we call a little section of our kitchen. Its not big enough to be a utility area and theres not enough space for a door but its seperate enough that you have to g oup a step to get inthere, so we call it our kitchen nook.
