Gooseberry recipes needed please!

Hi all,my neighbour has just given me an icecream container full of gooseberries.I've never used them before so was hoping someone out there might be able to pass on a reliable quick recipe for me to use?Don't mind what it is,just want to use them up.Can I freeze them for later use or not?Thanks xx

Is it too late for elderflowers? We rarely see any up here (and we're much later anyway). Gooseberries and elderflowers are a match made in heaven - fools, jam, pies anything! :cheers: :lol:
