Common Sundrop (Oenothera tetragona)

There are two clumps of sundrops in the garden. The mass of yellow is very pleasing. Blooms last for about two weeks and can be extended by deadheading. The plant is contained by digging a trench around the base of the clump. The green vegetation is still attractive into the Fall season even without blooms present.
