This plant has beautiful rich, green vegetation, and grow profusely. It is climbing on a 4 by 8 concrete reinforcing wire to keep its tentacles from digging into the house brickwork. It is necessary to keep the top trimmed, or it would probably grow over the roof of the house. Two are shown in the picture, and both have vegetation all year around.

The most astonishing thing is while flowering it attracts hundreds of house flies. There is a swarm every time one walks by the plant. At first this was of concern, but the flies never leave the area of the plant. I sit on the deck only a few feet away and never have a housefly bothering me.
