Procedure is to lay a row of commercial toilet paper along the row. If it is windy, which is usual the, paper is held in place with spikes. the paper is wetted and the seeds are carefully placed in position for appropriate spacing, then the row is covered with another layer of paper, and wetted again. The row is then covered with soil, and wetted. The row is 24 feet in length. This paper method is used for all small seeds. It reduces thinning later and contributes to quality vegetables, that are not misshapen due to overcrowding.
