Hello from Michigan USA

Post: # 18307Post Catherine »

Just found your site as I was searching for growing cotton. My husband and children are going to grow a small patch of cotton this summer an dtry our hand at carding, etc. We love growing our own food (not nearly enough to keep our family of 7 fed) organic stuff and really hate chemicals in our food, water, air, etc. We think of all this as an adventure!

Welcome Catherine!

A big family you have for sure. My OH is one of 8 children so I can understand you have a lot of food to prepare each day! Have you any great tips for feeding lots of people on a budget?
If in doubt ~ use a hammer!

Welcome Catherine ... definitely is a great adventure ... one of many in life

Got to see a cotton farm last year and pick some cotton myself ... small things amaze me ... but i had never seen cotton growing before ... please keep us posted on how you go.
I am happy to have a space to grow once again :)
