Woo ho!

Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Yay, great news! Our community garden is creaking into life shortly (we had a bit of a fight on our hands over the site), and getting funding has been singularly the biggest pain in the backside. We got a large Climate Challenge fund award that covers the initial 'stage 1' completion, but other sources have been less forthcoming (and the paperwork can be monsterous) - some organisations who were offering awards and grants have actually suspended them for the time being (must be the economy ATM); so we've had to do loads of fundraising ourselves which, again, isn't easy when people don't have money to spend.
That's brilliant news though, I hope the money keeps coming in for you! Hope you're going to post up some pics for us to see!

I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

Yep, we've got them!!! So far, we've got Climate Challenge funding (Scottish Government thing), Community Chest (have you done that one?), going for Lottery grant and a couple of other small ones. Have you tried these guys?
