Quilting

I have been wanting to have a go at quilting for many years but always thought it would be very difficult. Recently i have begun making a quilt and it's not that hard but you have to be precise with your measurments etc.
Also in another life I have a good friend who also does quilting and has a new website regarding this. She needs to get her site up the google ranking so I said i would ask if all you good people would do a google search for her site which is below.

THIS IS NOT A SALES PITCH OR A SPAM MESSAGE AS YOU ALL KNOW ME [for better or worse no doubt] and my friend isn't after sales or comments etc just getting up the google ranking [all hail to the google god] so will you do me a favour and do the google search.

Duly searched for, Big Al - several times. She's showing up third on the Google list if you search for Perfect Patchwork - but I suppose that it will be better to show up on a search just for Patchwork or Quilting. That search gives no results in the first 14 pages - yet. I'm sure she'll be there soon - it's a nice site.

Not quite sure what I am supposed to do, if I put the address in the google search box it comes up no. 1. If I type PerfectPatchwork it doesn't, obviously, as those two words are used by many.

Thats all you need to do mmm so thank you. Basically it lets google know that you are looking for a particular site type thing so it thinks that the site in question is important so it moves it up the rankings. The aim in this particular case is simply if a "stranger" types into google the words patchwork or quilting etc then the perfect patchwork site will stand a better chance of being seen.

Google in itself is a science and there are many, many facets to getting a good page ranking and using the search box is only one but as the saying goes.... every little helps....

It's like every day I go onto the net I search for this site and then I click on some of the ads religeously every day but I also get my son to do the same on his uni computers and if I am passing the public library I go in there and do some searches and click ads etc. Of course I know the addy for this site etc but in my own small way I believe I am helping keep this site up in the ranking.... I hope it's true...
