My names Paul and im in Derbyshire. I've taken on an allotment in October and really joined this site to learn about storing my produce, preserving, freezing and basicaly planning my veg to crop all year round. Im also into nature conservation (as its my day job). This year Ive made Elderflower cordial, raspberry jam and sloe gin.

Just wondering what the "ish" is for? Does it mean this is a site for anyone who is anything from a little bit self sufficent to completly self sufficient? Is there anyone who is completly self sufficient? Great site though.
