Re: worst five things on telly
Well I don't watch Brit TV living in NZ, but if the comments on Facebook are anything to go by then it's
X-Factor( they should just turn it OFF) ;)
Survivor or celeb jungle not sure, someone with big boobs is in it
What I recall of UK TV
Eastenders
Coronation Street
Any Aussie soap

GMTV, should be renamed baby TV
Football, golf, rugby etc although it does keep a certain class off people off the streets and out of harms way
When they talk over the end of a programme advertising an up coming programme or squash the credits up so you can't see who played who or who wrote the music
Anything that rides rough shod over normal programming because they think it may be of interest to the lowest common denominator of the population
Continuity announcers with excessive regional accents

Re: worst five things on telly
Reality TV and so-called talent shows (surely an oxymoron )
Any sport (except Rugby Union)
Any soap, although I watch Corrie every 4-5 years (to see if Ken's still in it )
Quiz shows aimed at the terminally stupid!
Supposed documentaries - that merely repeat soundbites every 10 minutes for an hour.

Re: worst five things on telly
Well where to start as pretty much a lot of tv is rubbish
On New Zealand TV
1. Shortland Street
2. Lost (it's not a story its just an excuse to pay millions of dollars to people who can't act by people who can't write)
3. Coronation Street
4. Australian Wipeout
5. Kiwi's breaking guinness records
the list could go on and on, but then it would become extremely borring

Re: worst five things on telly
I don't watch anything I don't like so hard to say what is worst!
1. Football, especially when it knocks off regular programmes that are good.
2. Any other sport, ditto
3. Dull documentaries
4. Soaps
5. Silly game shows
I love Saturday nights at the moment, I watch Strictly followed by X-factor followed by I'm a Celeb. Last night was the witchetty grub, cockroach, fish eye and kangaroo bollocks eating contest. Brilliant!

Re: worst five things on telly
I had a survey woman ask me how many tellies we have, when I answered she kept repeating 'Just one!!!'
Yep, and it's rarely on these days, now I can stream BBC News straight to my pc/laptop.
Worst five programmes?
1 TRAILERS!!!!!
2 soaps, all of 'em!
3 'reality' programmes (please tell me I'm not the only person who has never watched Big Bro'?)
4 Anything american
5 Most 'movies' (what ever happened to films?)
MW

Re: worst five things on telly
The only Big Brother I have seen is when my teenage daughter has been watching it and I've passed through the room, or when clips of it have appeared before my eyes in the middle of other programmes. I have sat through a whole episode once or twice, but I sat with my back to the TV and I quickly learned not to listen (I was on the computer). Does that count? I would really like to be a member of the "I've never watched Big Brother club".MuddyWitch wrote: 3 'reality' programmes (please tell me I'm not the only person who has never watched Big Bro'?)

Re: worst five things on telly
Me too, I'm joining the club. I like reality TV where there are either people with talent (or even better viewing, those who think they have talent ) or celebs. But BB is just talentless nonentities doing nothing.
