Odd potato question

You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Odd potato question

Post: # 172115Post thesunflowergal »

I have just been given a 4kg bag of peeled potatos. Bit odd I know. I don't have any room in the fridge, as Mr Sunflower has just been shopping.
So I making about a third into Leek and potato soup for the freezer. A third is being made into Mash for the freezer. But what about the rest? Has anyone any smart ideas please?

Thanks Nikki

We make a load of roast spuds all at once and freeze loads. Saves loads of time later.

Crisps? Slice very thinly and microwave until crisp. Store in an airtight container (erm, store them? mine don't last that long).
