New Arrival

Post: # 15726Post Steve Hanson »

Steve & Fiona

Would like to announce the arrival of their new baby Girl, Camellia.
Camellia was born at 7:30 am 27/03/06 weighing 50Kg.
Mother (Clover) & Daughter are doing very well.

Clover is a pure breed Normande cow, and Camellia is a cross Normande-Charolais, Camellia was born without human assistance and was standing and feeding within the hour, much to the relief of her mother who’s milk was flowing freely.

Photos will be on my site by this evening if you are interested, I would post them here but photos never seem to work for me from my host.

Ah, well done! Love to hear about things like that. I'd rather go goo-goo over a baby animal than a human baby (apologies to all human parents but babies and kids aren't my thing, unless they are fluffy/feathery!)

And I've just seen a new born foal this morning - missed the birth because I was in the shower! They are in a field just up the road.
