If you don't drink it I would be inclined to freeze it. That way it won't go off and your efforts will not go to waste. You could freeze it as ice cubes if you only plan to use a bit at once.
If you mix it with vodka so it is at least 25% alcohol it would probably be good for a couple of years (don't imagine it would last that long though)
If you mix it with honey (so there is 60% honey) it would keep for longer and make a great sweet and sour sauce.
