You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Maybe you should send me half, that would solve your problem!

Sounds good, I'm not sure how long it'll keep though. You could try putting half an inch of olive oil on it every time you use it. Not sure how well it'd go in a bloody mary though :pukeright:

apart from the Bloody Marys, i reckon it should keep for 2/3 months as long as you give it a shake from time-to-time.......... you could always try adding the vodka to it, just to be on the safe side!! :drunken:
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

If you don't drink it I would be inclined to freeze it. That way it won't go off and your efforts will not go to waste. You could freeze it as ice cubes if you only plan to use a bit at once.

If you mix it with vodka so it is at least 25% alcohol it would probably be good for a couple of years (don't imagine it would last that long though) :drunken:

If you mix it with honey (so there is 60% honey) it would keep for longer and make a great sweet and sour sauce.
