TV taster

Post: # 15267Post Andy Hamilton »

I have just spent the last hour or so trying to put this up, I hope it has worked and works in other browsers too - It is only a little taster, still needs a bit of work. - I have a feeling that it won't work as the file seems too small, will have to have a bit of a tweak in the morning. It gone midnight and work tomorrow.

As Andy did this on his Mac it's a Apple Quicktime file so you need to download that first to play it. I'm not sure which bit of filming I think this is us finding oyster mushrooms.

Yeah worked great.
Played perfectly on quicktime (under Linux) and played video only under VLC but that might just be my codecs.
Are you going to have a little article to go with each film?
Dont remember if it mentioned which sort of trees to look on and what time of the year.

Yep the funky monkey tune is one that Dave wrote so it is copyright free. I was not sure about it either, just wanted something catch for the intro. It will be changed at some point to something a bit more suitable.

The clip two is up there now as well, not as good quality in fact I was not happy with this at all but it was sitting on my computer so thought I would share it. http://www.selfsufficientish.tv/soupstream.mov - is the link for streaming video and http://www.selfsufficientish.tv/soup.mov is the non streaming version.

We will be puttting a little article up with each film I think that is what will work the best for search perposes too.

Thank you for persisting to watch it chilli monster.

Andy/Dave, I keep trying to get these links but can't - could it be the firewall which I have running - very frustrating but not your fault. Sue
