simple living
I would love to move to a simpler life, I wonder what has happened to all the time I've saved using so-called time saving devices (washing machine, microwave, hoover, food processor etc..). In reality I get very little extra done in comparison with my grandmother (who resisted all such devices)-maybe I just find more things that 'have' to be done.

i was just amazed at how simple simplicity seemed in black and white ... but as Deb mentioned ... and glen and I have tried to ascertain .... where in our life do we draw a line in the sand?
it is obviously a personal choice for each individual ...
but i guess that is also why i am here ... self sufficiency

Ah, simplicity - it's a damn complicated business. Or at least it seems that way. I've had one or two glimpses of it - a sudden sort of flash of understanding; a profoundness of thought; suddenly things seem to fit together in a sensible way.
