You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Blackberry and apple jam

Post: # 163755Post Mylovelyhorse »

Is it me, or are the blackberries ready early this year?? I've been out and picked a few lbs of them, so have just made the first (no doubt) of several jam batches. 7lbs of blackberry and apple jam now cooling in the kitchen. Yum...

I picked a handful yesterday but have seen more ready. Of course it starts raining again!
