My horse is wet!

Hi All,

On the light side on this hot weather, here's a giggle for everyone, my 29 yr old horse likes to stand in the spray of the sprinkler just like a kid.

We sprinkle the paddock to keep the dust down and Buster stands in the spray and then goes and rolls on the wet dirt to keep cool and the wet dirt keeps the bugs off.

I had a horse before that would roll in mud for the same reason, but you couldn't get near him with a hose.

Anybody else have a horse ,pony,or dog that does this?

sounds like he's enjoying himself.

When I read your title, I thought, so what, everybody's wet here. It was the thought of hot weather that made me smile. We had a nice day today, it was sunny for some of the time and hasn't rained since I got up this morning.

I don't feel so bad now that I know someone is enjoying some sunshine, even if we aren't.
