my native is not english so i wonder how you native english speakers might call this?

i would be really thankful if someone could give me a clue where to buy such a think in the UK, cause shipping from Germany would be a bit much

Is it a rumtopft? (sp) One of those thingies that you layer fruit in and then pour rum or brandy over let it steep and then release the tap to let the liquid out?

my mothers neithers. But thanks for the clues and yes it is a vinegar pot or as the french say vinaigrier and now i can search properly

Rumtopf (literal translation rum pot) - no, definitely not, and as a Rumtopf is German, I think Tina would have known that... :wink:

Never seen anything like it - except in plastic! I would call it "something I'd love to have"! :mrgreen:

I'm glad you told us it's a vinegar pot because I was having visions of a medieval colonic lavage kit for a moment! :wink:
