How would you call this?

The whole reason for the selfsufficientish website was to offer a place where anyone can ask, HOW DO I...? So who knows why it has taken us so long to have a HOW DO I? section, but here it is. So if you want to know how to do anything selfsufficientish then here is the place to ask.

Is it a rumtopft? (sp) One of those thingies that you layer fruit in and then pour rum or brandy over let it steep and then release the tap to let the liquid out?
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Rumtopf (literal translation rum pot) - no, definitely not, and as a Rumtopf is German, I think Tina would have known that...

Never seen anything like it - except in plastic! I would call it "something I'd love to have"!

I'm glad you told us it's a vinegar pot because I was having visions of a medieval colonic lavage kit for a moment!
