The Power Behind The Throne!

Post: # 159519Post Lisa_St.Albans »

Hello You Ishers,

I'm probably more of a Margo, but am married to a Tom. We have a veg plot, fruit trees and hens in the garden, an allotment, a wormery, many compost bins and a huge recycling area. I'm just not really sure where they are ... He's more the smallholder really  He deals with the wildlife outside and I deal with it inside: We have two young children. :fart:

Anywho ... we have an unidentified fruit tree in the garden and I was googling around for suggestions at tea time when I stumbled upon this site and forum. Having been completely sucked in, it is now bedtime and too dark for a photo. Thought I would say Hi and let you know to expect a photo of a tree with fruits that look very much like damsons but are orange/red.

Bet you can't wait?

Hi there - welcome in!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

He's never really seen the benefit of forums. He sees me tapping away and argues I am missing out on "real life". I have just stood down as Chair of the NCT in St Albans and founded our preggie and new mummy forum three years ago which has been a huge success and tremendous support for new mums who want to ask "I know it sounds silly but ..." questions. (Actually I just received an award from UK Office for it  ) I now sell Children's Books and we have a brill forum for all us work at home mums who work independantly but support each other. It's just natural to me to have cyber buddies!

Anyway, since we looked into rescuing our ex batts, Mr N has been lurking on some hen forums. We collected our girls from a lovely lady called Little Hen. He wondered if he should join the forum as Big Cock?

Tell him, there are a lot of people like myself who wouldn't have much of a real life if it wasn't for forums... It's not all just happening on the box! I've met quite a few Ishers personally already - would never had met so many liek minded people without the forums.
