Hi from Portsmouth

Post: # 157173Post hext »

Hi ish

I live in a flat in hampshire outside of Portsmouth, where my girlfriend and I grew veg and keep chickens, the garden (communal) is very large and two other flats (that also grew veg) and us, decided to keep chickens and now have 9 hens.

I also go hunting, of which I eat 100% of what I shoot/ catch. Rabbits, Pigeons, Pheasents and Fish.

Love the site!

Hi Hext and welcome ! Interesting comment about hunting and you certainly don't waste anything ! Did you know that the American Indians used every aspect of the buffalo they hunted, too ? Bones for jewellery, the hides for blankets and teepees and the meat to eat. Hope you enjoy the site as much as I have been.

Dear Hext,

Just round the corner from you, edge of Fareham, out on the Wickham Rd. Good to hear of another 'ampshire 'og, there are a few of us on here. May the tribe increase!

Hi and welcome! How lucky to have like minded neighbours - it's pretty good to have veggies and hens when you live in a flat!
