Cream Cheese on hot toast

Post: # 155560Post StripyPixieSocks »

Made 2ltrs of yoghurt the day before yesterday for turning into Cream Cheese... we had some for lunch today with fresh home made bread that we had toasted... can you say delicious?

Flickr won't let me link a photo for some reason but never mind!

We had to freeze half of it and we used Onken Biopot Natural to make this lot and not the Yeo Valley and we've found that the Onken has a much more creamier taste and the Yeo Valley is a bit too tangy for our tastes!

Just waiting for 2ltrs of yoghurt to finish thickening up and then we have dessert and Muesli toppings for... weeks I should think  Can't wait as we've got some thawed frozen fruits of the forest languishing in the fridge all sweetened up and ready to go *shudders* :flower:

It's like Hippy Central here at the moment! :dave:

Well, we use a plastic sandwich box (which holds just over 2ltrs) and a heated propagator but you can make it with a Thermos.

All you need is some warm milk, milk powder and some Natural Yoghurt to start.

Here's a thread from not long ago telling you all about how to make it :)

Yummm looks lovely! I had some of that Yeo Valley organic yoghurt when I was in England and it was fantastic - even better than real greek yoghurt! Wish I could get something like that here instead of insipid tasteless stuff - mind you I do buy the cheapest rubbish I can get.....
