recurrent Oral candidiasis in a 3 year old

Post: # 151728Post mrsflibble »

we've tried:
yogurt, daktarin gel when needed, topical calendula tea, teatree...

she's got oral thrush again for the second time in 2 months.

last time she went for blood tests to rule out autoimmune, diabetes and antibody problems because she gets it soooo often.

I've cut down on sugar in her diet but she will only eat white bread. she wont drink calendula tea either, though i keep offering it.

help!!
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very
ve-he-he-he-heryyyyyyy soooooooooooon!!!!

Have you tried Aloe Vera Tablets? I haven't got time to check right now as I'm rushing off in a minute to the hospital but I'm sure I saw that you could take them for candidiasis (or Thrush) so that might be worth checking out and you CAN get them on prescription because our GP offered it to Pat for his Psoriasis!

Poor wee chicka, hope she gets sorted soon!

Edit: also Echinacea Tablets
