Hi y'all
Another newbie! Haven't had a chance to look around the site yet, but it's so right up my street that I had to register immediately. What makes me qualify for ishness? Bags of enthusiasm for beating the system, or at least not subscribing to it. And I have a beard. I love cooking, especially curries, and hate washing up. And when I'm not cooking, not not washing up, or not chatting on this interweb thing, I'm brewing wine. Yet to try beer, but willing to learn. Enough about me;
Best wishes, 2ndRateMind

Re: Hi y'all
I like that you qualify for ishness by having a beard and not enjoying doing the washing up

Hello and welcome to ish.
I don't think that you are alone in not enjoying washing up, but now I'm worried did I need a beard to qualify as an isher???

Yes, that's right. Barton Hill it is. If you are where I think you are, I'll be dropping by sometime this week to say hello. Meanwhileazjh77 wrote:Morning!
Another Bristolian !! And if I remeber rightly from your other posts that you are a Barton Hill/Redfield Bristolian too .. so very local to the Little Co-op.. (Or am I mixing you up with someone else?)
If you can grow a beard, you can grow veg!! - you sound very 'ISH' to me (hang on that doesn't sound like a compliment does it...)
Welcome to ISH
Best wishes, 2ndRateMind.

I think your name may be a misnomeur - a 2nd rate mind surely subscribes to the teachings of "the man". I'm sure you - and the rest of here are all 1st rate

Re: Hi y'all
I'm sure everyone else here is first rate, too. But I like my 2ndRateMind tag - it means I can ask simple, basic questions without any ego getting in the way. (And it's quite surprising how often people are tripped up on them. I go on philosophy and religion forums quite a lot, and it's rather fun to puncture the occasional self image!)Green Aura wrote:I think your name may be a misnomeur - a 2nd rate mind surely subscribes to the teachings of "the man".
