Hello from sunny Long Eaton (notts)

Post: # 146663Post craig.r »

Hello Everyone my name is Craig, I am trying to be as self sufficent as i can with the help of my 4 kids and my girlfriend. I have a lot to do as i only have an allotment at the moment, but hopefully i will be branching out into having my own chickens and some sort of power generation next year. I look forward too learning off others and changing the way i live. I want to learn as much as i can so i can teach my kids and hopefully give them a better future. I will now spend the rest of the weekend browsing this forum and picking your brains. :salute:

So Becks77 your family live in Long Eaton too. Like you say 'its a small world' . I hope to move to the countryside one day but i suppose everyone does if they don't already. :thumbright:

Off Topic, but gosh! I know lots of folks live in Long Eaton, but once long ago I had a pen pal from there. We corresponded for about eight years and then I guess outgrew penpals. I have always wondered what happened to her. I still remember her address. If anyone would like to spare a few moments to help me see if there is a way to find her, I would be happy to hear from them.
