lentil & Brown rice soup

lentil & Brown rice soup

2/3 cup lentil soup mix
1/3 cup of brown rice
2 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 bay leaves
1 small onion (chopped)
2 medium carrots (chopped)
(choice of vegetables)
1 tin tomatoes
1 teaspoon dried herbs
1 teaspoon paprika

put the first six ingredients into a pot with six mugs of water and bring to boil, simmer for about tens mins. Add tinned toms, vegetable s and onion and herbs, simmer for about 40 mins. Add salt, pepper and miso if required. Chopped parsley goes very nicely on top, a few seeds and some chilli powder and your done.
