ok this is driving me nuts .. the curved blade for chopping herbs .. that seems to come double blades with a variety of boards these days ... mine is just a single blad on its own ...

Hi Silver Ether, maybe the name you are looking for is "Ulu knife". They often are supplied with a chopping board, which has a bowl-shaped cut-out in it (innit!).
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

I think we call ours the mezulla??? don't use it very much though.

the title made me think of those bikes that everyone had when we were kids :thumbleft:

I didn't know mezzaluna was the name for the herb chopping thingy - I will now off and impress OH (spesh as i got him one for xmas) with my newfound knowledge :mrgreen:
