Reduce AMPS

I have a 12 volt solar system with 235 watts of panels and 7 deepcycle 12 volt batteries I want to hook up a car radio but when I plug it in thr 3 amp fuse blows does any one know how I can reduce amps

Are you sure that it is wired up correctly and the radio is functioning OK? Generally an appliance will draw what it needs to function regardless of how much energy is available. Radios do not draw much current when operating so it sounds like there is something not right in the circuit to me, Rlyyoung.

I just thought (stupid question) but are the batteries wired up in parallel?
