Follow up to the new cockerel - the pimping gander.

If you have read my previous post you will know that we have just taken in some fowl from some friends who are giving up keeping livestock.

Amongst the fowl were a mating couple of Toulouse geese - the gander demonstrated his mating technique in the car on the way home.

In the previous 48hours that they have been living with us, he has taken to our other ganders in a big way and abandoned the supposed love of his life. She is know following him around while he cuddles up to the other ganders, then he stands back proudly and looks on shouting encouragement while they have a quick 'go' with her!!!!

Our farmyard now resembles some sort of pron channel what with the geese, the new cockerel, and a kitten that has just realised he is a male living with 2 much older female neutered cats.
