Priorities?

Post: # 129838Post Bluemoon »

I haven't read the news today, but I certainly watched it last night! BBC news 24 between 7 and 8pm.

Global warming has been proved to be caused by man and it is no longer thought to be part of a natural cycle. Total air time for this story? Less than 3 minutes.

Fighting in the Congo, which may well erupt into a bloody civil war: Air time less than one minute.

Jonathan Ross says something offensive: Airtime, all of the remaining 56 minutes with a couple of quick breaks for weather reports.

I'm just so glad we've got our priorities right. Now, does anyone know of an uninhabited island I can go and live on, before I start giving a s**t about this sort of drivel too.

Exactly what I was thinking in the car on the way in this morning. I'm very close to writing a letter to the BBC...
