I made a lovely bread yesterday, thought I might share it with you. I make it in my bread machine then take it out and bake it in the oven... stops the really tall loaves with a huge paddle shaped bit missing lol
1 cup White Bread Flour
1 cup Malted Bread Flour
1 cup Rye Flour Bread Flour
1 cup Wholemeal Bread Flour
1.5 cups Warm Water
1tbsp Sesame Oil
3tbsp Olive Oil
1.5tsp Easy Bake Yeast
3tbsp Demerara Sugar
3tbsp Milk Powder
2tsp Salt
0.5 - 0.75 cup Omega Mix*
1tbsp Black Poppy Seeds
Throw it all in the breadmaker and use the dough setting.
When it beeps, take it out, knead and shape into the shapes you want.
Place on the baking sheet (or in a tin), cover and leave to rise for 1 hour.
Bake in a pre-heated 200 deg C oven for 20 minutes or until it sounds hollow when rapped with your knuckles.
* Omega Mix - I get this from Julian Graves but it is a mix of Pumpkin Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Linseeds and Sunflower Seeds)
It's quite a robust bread and we are having it tonight with Leek and Potato Soup (which has carrots and cumin in it and is absolutely heavenly!)
