Although I've never done the Listen again bit, I'm a Radio 4 addict, too! I also like the Food Programme, and Home Truths (not quite the same without John Peel, but I'm still sad it's going). And I have to confess that I usually listen to the Archers, too
(Well, I don't have telly and have to get my dose of soap somewhere
!)

I'm a R4 fan too. In my humble opinion, this alone is worth the BBC licence fee. It's often on 24 hours a day here, but does get turned off (rather firmly, if I may say) for The Archers, Woman's Hour, The UK Theme first thing in the morning (if I'm awake - hooray it's about to be scrapped) and Sailing By last thing at night.
I'm Sorry I Haven't A Clue and Just A Minute are perenial delights. Sometimes the mirth seems endless. I keep meaning to see about tickets for ISIHAC before it's too late (Humphrey Littleton is 85 this year), but they seem to be like hen's teeth whenever I think to do anything about it.

Ina, wasn't John Peel FANTASTIC on home truths? We tried to listen every week when we could. It's still good, as you say, but John had a certain something.... Very annoyed that they are ditching it! One of the highlights.
Stew, I agree with you about the licence fee! My 80 year old neighbour has R4 on all day when she's in really loud - used to apologise until I said it was brilliant coz I didn't have to turn my radio on to listen to it!!! I cannot imagine those shows without Humph and Nick...
You can go on the email list for ISIHAC - http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/comedy/clue.shtml here

I did once offer to pay a fee for listening to the radio - but they refused to accept it. And since I don't have telly, they've now at last admitted that I don't have to pay anything at all and promised to leave me alone for at least 3 years. I'll believe that when I see it...
Stew, I rather like the UK theme - it signals that it's time to get out of bed and put the kettle on! In future, if they send something actually worth listening to at that time - when will I get my coffee?
I fully agree with you both about Sorry I haven't a clue and Just a minute. But did you hear the first of "Banter" tonight? I thought it was b***y awful... Noisy, and nothing really funny about it that I could see.
