Hello from Notts/Derbys

Post: # 119089Post weatherwax »

Hi, just starting out on the journey to self sufficiency, not very far yet :)
Clearing garden ready for fruit and veggie patches and just got 3 chooks, grow lots of herbs. Try to recycle as much as possible.
Well it's a start I suppose :)
No doubt I will be asking advice on EVERYTHING!!! :)
So Thanks in advance

Welcome weatherwax, sounds like you're making a good start, good luck and long may you continue

Hi there!

I'm in Notts too. We have rescued hens for eggs, rescued rabbits & guinea pigs (for poop I suppose!), a rescued lurcher (for guarding duties, hahahaha - he's partially blind & deaf now!) and veggies in the garden for food.

I'm planning a meet up here in October, hope you'll consider coming along?
