The seals come right up to the dunes to have their pups so you could touch them if you're looking to get bitten!
These pics were taken out towards the shore line just crouched down and quiet for a while.

Seals always seem so very dog-like.

We always used to scan the sea for seals when we did cliff-walks in Cornwall when I was a kid, and we could sometimes see their heads bobbing about in the distance. I'd love to see them out of the water like that.

The wardens have trouble with dog walkers who insist on taking their dogs along the dunes while the seals are there in spite of all the signs that say ' no dogs'. Even if the dogs behave there's always the risk the seals can catch distemper from the dogs.

We went on a boat trip out into the Wash when we were holidaying in North Norfolk in early April and I got some lovely photos of the seals there. Would love to see the ones in Lincolnshire too.
