Sort of special day
The wine's cooling (and the rum and coke is in reserve). Dinner is quick and easy - steak and chips. It's going to be a party night. It's Carole's last day at school. Today, she retires, and we can really concentrate on the important things in life.

Yes, Carole is the OH. And I've been training her for a month to shrug and say "It's not my problem". And she's done it, but she doesn't really mean it and I know there are going to be a few tears. However, rum will cure that - and a holiday.
