Hello from deepest Devon

Post: # 110898Post Firegirl »

Hello All,
My Dad showed me an article in one of his magazines with this [/color]website at the end of it, so figured I'd have a look. It's nice to find like-minded folks to keep you inspired while you're picking broad beans in the rain and the thistles are spiking through your jeans.
I'm 34, called Sarah, spend too much time working with computers, have 2 sons who need the Xbox to breathe and spend as much time as I can escaping to my 4 acres of hillside in Devon, playing in the mud and shouting at the deer and rabbits.
whoa Doctor Who's on the telly - better go and eat stew. Nice to meet you. :rabbit:

You've lost me there - it's the only place I get left in peace - my hiding place. Everyone I know thinks I'm odd with my 'pikey' tendancies.
Thanks for the reply. :flower:

Hello Sarah from another new girl

Thanks for saying your boys need the Xbox to breathe as my 5 yr old son became addicted to 'DaddysPlaystation' after one innocent little go. He now wishes whole weeks away until its the weekend and he can play on it again...

Give a wave to the deer from us, 4 acres of Devon hillside sounds like lots of work but lots of pleasure too despite the horizonal rain and summer gales.
