Hi from a new member...
Hi,
I've just joined the forum and wanted to say hi and introduce myself. I live in London with my husband and daughter, and we're trying to keep gradually adding more good choices into our life (recycling, reusing, growing our own food, fair trade, freecycling etc) a tiny bit at a time - so this seemed like a good place to get a few more ideas about that. I've been lurking on selfsufficient-ish for a couple of years but have finally taken the plunge - good to meet you all!

Thanks everyone - and I wasn't exactly lurking all that time, just using the website without joining the forum! Marshlander, my daughter's 1 1/2 so not quite got the concentration span yet to grasp the whole plant-wait-grow-wait-pick-eat thing, but she does enjoy being out in the garden with us and playing with mud. Last weekend she planted some garlic cloves for me (sort of...) and seems to enjoy washing plant pots, so I'm going to encourage that one as it's my least favourite garden job. Anyway, thanks for the welcome and glad to be here.
