well...that is what you're best at!

hmmm...i think that seeing that my almost dead Mint plant (Heinrich) is growing again, adn that my orange tree is growing made me smile!

Heinrich was a present at work. I have a lace plant called Igor, and one of my colleagues kept referring to it as Heinrich the Herbaceous Border, so he bought me a mint plant and called it Heinrich.

I shoved an orange pip in Igor's soil, and it started growing. Its about 2" tall now!

my bean's still growing, it got staked to a bit of paper today... it's now just south of 30cm tall... it's grown 13 cm in just over 2 days... that's quite scary!

I thought this thread had turned into that other one when everyone writes a line of nonsense that doesn't relate to anything else! :? :? :?

Then I realised you are all responding to the 'gonna be grinning today' with all the things that have made you happy!

Happy wedding anniversay Mrs Flibble!

Actually I don't mind being Jerry too much. As I recall he was a nice chap who tried to help out the Goods whenever possible. I have been accused of thinking that 'The Good Life' was a documentary rather than a sitcom, but in truth I haven't seen it since it had a re-run in the early eighties - Mum and Dad didn't watch it when it was originally shown so I had to wait until I was married with a telly of my own. Now that I'm really trying to live the good life I got shot of the T.V set, along with any other unnecessaries, so can't watch it even if they decide to show it again.

I need to post something just so I can see what I am!!

Ermmmmm- what made me grin today.............

Seeing the bolshie way my mare stormed off across the field to sort the dog out when he was sniffing at her hay, that pair are a comedy double act.

Looking forward to friends coming over for a meal tonight and another episode of The Apprentice - the only reason to switch on the TV in the week.
