Woohoo! I officially have "a garden"!!

Post: # 99038Post Super.Niki »

... well... ok not a "garden" as such, but I have things growing!!

I just started a new blog so I took a picture of my windowsill "crops" and thought I'd share them with everyone I have no idea how to put pictures up (yes, yes I know the instructions are around... I'll find them at some point  ), but here's the link:

what do you think?

Going out tomorrow (or, rather, later today sing at is is almost half past 3 in the morning...) to get some more pots and seeds as my house mates have just given the go-ahead for me to adopt the two windowsills in the living area!

...am I far too excited about this???

woo!! Thanks for the encouragement guys & girlies!

Have spent today adopting another windowsill for my other "garden"
http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh89 ... garden.jpg

It's soo cool! I have no idea if some of the veg will grow but at least I can start them off in the "pots" (haha... all borrowed from various cartons/bottles/tubs/etc) and then plant them outside at home when I go back for summer (well... that's the plan...).

Oh nuts... I just realised I forgot all about strawberry plants... will have to go back and get some seeds tomorrow!!

I'm glad people here are as excited as me! My friends think I'm a bit loony for going "oh look! I can see as shoot" every now and again!

just make sure nobody does to your plants what some evil bugger did to our house goldfish during a party in the second year..... let's just say it involved beer. One fish made it through, but he was never the same. The other died. poor Frodo, RIP Bilbo.

"My friends think I'm a bit loony", you said.

Encouragement you'll get, but no-one here has said you're not. But it's a good kind of loony
