Hello and thanks for inviting me in.
I've been browsing the site for a couple of months now and finally decided to stick my 2p worth in. (One thing I like about this site is that people seem to be getting out and doing things rather than just talking about it.)
Main interest is self-reliance, particularly trying to divorce myself from the rat-race, have come pretty close at times mainly in growing my own food, and have been space heating using found wood for the last 9 winters now. Have kept bees in the past before the dreaded Vooroa swept round our way. Currently investigating ways of electricity generation to take my lighting load off grid.
Typical bloke with a shed and tools and from which interesting things emerge from time to time.
