My fridge is off for half the year; so is my freezer. But I must admit that the freezer is on from late summer to early spring (getting empty now!), to store garden produce. I do bottle a few things, too, to keep me going once the frozen stuff has run out.

in the winter i have the largest fridge in all of scotland! In summer i have the smallest fridge in scotland but, suits us fine. A simple zeerpot. No, it canna fit a 12 pack of carlsberg but, youd be surprised what can fit into a 15 litre terracotta pot! Lmao!
