Sounds like a brilliant place to live! Hat's off to them... I hope one of the comments is not true, that T****s is planning an express store in the village...
If I have seen a little further it is by standing on the shoulders of Giants.

What an inspiring story!
They're not weeds - that's a habitat for wildlife, don't you know?

ZeroWastePackaging - My campaign

Today, I achieved ZWP in my shopping by visiting 2 local shops for meat, veg and fruit. The idea is to remove packaging from the bin waste as I have already done with recyclables and food waste. I currently empty the bin every 3 weeks but my target is 52 weeks. Can this be achieved?
Bin Waste - 4 weeks - 3.25oz
52 weeks - 2.64lb est.

What a great link! I'm just starting to encourge my neighbours to eat and buy better by trying to set up a local freerange farmers market+local produce delivered weekly...its giving me aload more confidence that I can do it!!!

I do hate supermarkets ...

You might not reach the destination, but the journey will be well worthwhile.

Thanks for the kind words. The truth is it can be achieved. The way to do it is see what the waste is, find non-bin solutions (return, re-use, change what is used, etc). What is your goal?
