festivals this year

Do you know about an event that you want to talk about? Is there a campaign you have started, are involved in or want to start? Inspired by Marvin Gaye this is your place to tell the world what's going on.

we went last year, and stomped off in dis-gust after 36 hours - really badly run, and full of very young and very violently drunk and nastily drugged people - very much on the "one to miss list" :?
Been going to festivals for years - this really was dreadful!

we have booked our tickets for earthwise and party neuf. Keep forgetting about cropredy - but until boys are older, or I feel able to leave my babies with someone else, we need festies that are about more than music. Went to Cropredy YEARS ago with a jolly good friend.

See you there then! .....oops, just worked it out - must need more coffee!

Would love to go - but a bit too far, and don't think I can get that time off, either.

And I need more coffee, too.

Me and t'other half might be stewarding :? I've not even looked to see who's playing!

Anyone know of a decent online list of festivals and/or organised camp-type things for this year?

the.fee.fairy, if you go to Sunrise, make sure you come along to Green Innovations area, we will be helping with an eco laundrette and running a small stall to promote handmade crafts sold via www.etsy.com

sounds good, I was hoping there's be more "discussion" type things at BGG last year but either there wasn't or we just didn't find them! Tis our first time at sunrise too... getting quite excited now!!
