another newbie who loves recycling, gardening & Bokashi!

Post: # 93032Post pouch »

thought I would come and check this site out after reading about it in the Times on Saturday.
about me:
• I'm interested in all things eco, especially recycling and growing organic food.
• Last year I grew my first food plants, although not on a large scale, I grew salad leaves, herbs, courgettes, aubergines, tomatoes and spring onions :)
• I love making Bokashi compost and tell anyone who will listen about it! I've even written a review which appears in the latest wiggly wigglers catalogue, you can read about it on my blog:
http://pouchbags.blogspot.com/2008/03/b ... iggly.html
• I work as a freelance typesetter in Bristol
• I also run a small website selling handmade recycled fabric bags and homewares
http://www.pouchbags.co.uk
• I am also involved with a Bristol-based not-for-profit ethical fashion promotions company called FLOCK. I took part in their first fashion show at the start of March. Please check out their website, they are a small, local group that has lots of interesting plans for the future and well worth supporting
http://www.flockfashion.com/

I love Bristol and it's eco-vibe and I look forward to becoming a regular visitor to this site :flower:

p.s. I'll add all these links to the links section, hope it's ok to mention them here too :)

thanks for being so welcoming everyone :)

If anyone is new to Bokashi composting and wants to ask me a question then fire away. Can't guarantee I'll have the answer, but I'll have a go :)

Also, there is a wiggly wigglers facebook group where members of wiggly staff, including Heather, answer questions on lots of topics including Bokashi!
