Getting rid of Slugs indoors
Anyone got a solution for getting rid of slugs indoors. So far we have tried, sitting up until the early hours and killing as many as you can find over a 3 days. Putting salt under the carpet, putting copper tape around the edges of the carpet and even putting beer cans with a little bit of beer left in them on their side as simple beer traps.
Nothing seems to work. Will ~I have to take up the floor boards and go hunting for every single egg and slug I can find?

Are they getting in through a damaged damp proof course? Keeping the house as dry as possible will deter them I think. they'll be looking for algae and soft green stuff - do you have a real grass carpet?

tried the copper route, putting copper tape all around the edges of the carpets they still seem to find a route in.
The carpet is green does that count?? Also the house if pretty dry not sure what they are coming in for.

Indoor slugs? first time I have come accross that problem before. If you go the old permaculture route, then they say you don't have a slug problem you have a lack of ducks, not sure if duck poo is better than slugs in the house though.......
I would go for the salt route, pile it up, it is cheap and you can vacuum it up later.

Indoor Slugs
I had a similar problem a while ago, and I found it was because I had put my house plants out for the summer, and then brought them in and the slugs must have been in the pots.
