Did it snow where you are

Post: # 91385Post Andy Hamilton »

Did it snow where you are? I can't remember the last time it snowed at easter. I think it was about 20 years ago.

Anyway, lots of hail, a bit of sun and a few drops of rain in Bristol no snow though.

Lots of hail stones here in Swindon. A few snow flakes but not enough to settle. Beautiful sunshine the next minute.

60 mph winds yesturday with hail, rain, sleet and snow. Easter, more wind, more hail, more rain, more sleet and more snow. Only thing to show on the ground for it is more mud!

My folks live in the Peak District and they were expecting it there.....

But more surprisingly, snow fell here this afternoon!!!! OK so it was really light and only for a few minutes, but still, SNOW IN THE SOUTH OF SPAIN AT EASTER

Lots of snow showers, some of them really heavy - most of it gone during the day, though. But the last bit is staying again; temperatures must have dropped...

Took this yesterday but it was the same today, plenty of savage hail showers and the odd flurry of snow but it didn't lie at sea level.

Don't forget, Easter is very early this year so snow is not really that surprising (climate change excepted!).

Anyway, the Stonehead Circle at its best...

Aye MDL that's the view from the end of our drive, I use it in the header for my blog and keep changing it as I've pictures of all it's moods. Our nearest T***O is 110 miles away
