Dogs teeth

Post: # 91195Post dudley »

Is there a tooth fairy for dogs?

Should we be putting a six pence in the dogs bed?

Our two border collie pups, now 4 months old, keep dropping teeth. This is the third we have found on the floor, lol.

Maybe they will stop chewing the chair legs soon,

They have hide chews, pigs ears etc. They are good boys really, and cant help teething, its just strange finding teeth on the floor. It was quite worrying at first.

The story goes…….We went to a farm in Wales to get a puppy as we had to have our blue merle collie Smokey, 14 years, put to rest at Christmas.

We wanted another blue merle and knew this farm had one. Arrived at the farm, looked at the litter, all fine, nice place etc. I went back to the car to get my wallet and by the time I got back Jane had decided that a tri colour pup also of that litter wanted to live in Kent. I did get a quantity discount though.

I do miss having a collie around the house! There's something quite special about them!

Mine loved carrots straight from the fridge when she was teething, they are nice and cool for their hot sore gums! Some ove them others hate them but worth a go.

The poodle is now 4 and chews only the stuff which is meant to be chewed by a poodle - you know the stuff ... furniture ... trees ... anything I'm holding ...

Pleased to be of service. Al;so on the dog theme have you tried stuffd kongs when they need a bit of quiet time? THey were a god send with both our collies and the ESS. Not needed it with my whippet or Border terrier though. Try Peanut butter, dairylea anything icky!

Would love to see some pics of the pups!
