white horses
jane and i have just got back from the sea front at redcar and the tide is in, the waves are crashing over the sea wall, the road is full of sand that is washed in with the waves, and the swell of the waves with the foam looks fantastic, its totally amazing the power that nature has, and scary as well.

White horses here too yesterday - cold cold wind coming in off the sea, but don't think it is as rough as Redcar.....

me too, I love the sea, but Wiltshire does have white horses of another ilkchookwoman wrote:There's always one.
I'm envious. Berkshire doesn't have much of a coastline.

The photo's a year old but it's not uncommon in jan and feb

I took this one on thursday.

and I've lost count of how many I've seen on their side just there. I've seen new telegraph poles snapped by the wind and slates embedded in wood, we certainly get some weather up here.
Cheers, Paul
