I thought all hampers had those in - my mum used to get one every christmas after paying for it weekly all through the year. What excitement there was when it arrived, to be followed by the disappointment when you realise that you wouldn't eat half the stuff... cheap liqueur chocolates (well ok I scoffed them back thenAndy Hamilton wrote:Shirlz2005 wrote: was a strange hamper though it had tinned ham, tinned peaches and fish. Even a can of baked beans, not the most christmasy of foods baked beans eh?
Once I was old enough to help my mum with the shopping I pointed out that she was paying way over the odds for the 'luxury' of this hamper... she doesn't bother any more
