I was given some bulbs over Christmas and I've grown them up in a bowl at work. They have a strong scent and I've used them as a natural air-freshener to mask unpleasent smells from the men I work with (they've worked really well at this and don't have the nasty chemicals that commercial air-fresheners have, which I hate).
Now the flowers have gone over. I'd like to plant them in a corner of my allotment but don't know how I should do this. Do I wait for the leaves to die down? Do I dry them out first like onions? Help I've never done flowers before and they're really beautiful I don't want to loose them!
Thanks
